The Smart Specialization Strategy of the Centru Region (RIS3) is a document designed at a regional level according to Guide for the elaboration of Smart Specialization Strategies and approved by the Regional Development Council with the decision no. 8 of March 18, 2015.
Subsequently, following the operational process of Priority Axis 1 of the ROP 2014-2020 and the establishment of the Regional Innovation Consortium, it was initiated the review of the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Centru Region by updating the sectoral analyzes and integrating the results of the entrepreneurial discovery process in the last part of 2016.
After the review, CDR Centru, by Decision no. 10 / 26.09.2017, had approved the new version of the Central Region Smart Specialization Strategy for 2014-2020.
